In an effort to minimize illness and limit time away from school, please let me remind you of our "illness policies". We ask that you take responsibility for making sure your children are well before coming to school. Please do not bring your child to school when any of the following symptoms exist:

· Fever (must have temperature less than 100.4 degrees for 24 hours)

· Vomiting and/or Diarrhea (must be free of these for 24 hours)

· Any symptoms of childhood infectious diseases (Scarlet Fever, Measles, Chicken Pox, Strep Throat, Flu, etc)

· Chicken Pox: all sores must be scabbed over and dry underneath

· Common Cold: during any part of the week when they feel too miserable to be at school.

· Croupy Cough

· Any unexplained rash

· Any skin infection such as Ringworm, Thrush, Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease, "Boils", Impetigo

· "Pinkeye" or other eye infections

· Any communicable disease

· Cloudy or green runny nose, persistent cough

· Mononucleosis

· Head lice (will be sent home if active lice are observed)

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call me.
I look forward to serving you and your children this year!
