You can help keep our children safe as they travel to and from school by following these traffic and parking guidelines:
Circular Driveways - designated fire lanes
Follow the Safety Patrol’s directions.
Please do not park in the circular driveways. These lanes are for the carpool line and are for pick-up and drop-off only.
When dropping off or picking up children, please pull all the way forward to the first open spot on the inside lane (lane closest to the curb). Do not drop your child off in the outside lane.
After dropping off or picking up your child, proceed with caution to the outside lane and exit the carpool line.
No left-hand turn from either circular driveway.
Do not cross the double-yellow lines to enter circular driveways. This means the approach to a circular driveway must be made in the right-hand lane in order to make a right-hand turn. (Although this can be inconvenient, it will keep traffic flowing better.)
Parking
Do not drop or pick up children from the Faculty parking lots. This causes problems for the staff and is a danger to children.
Please pay attention to no-parking signs.
No parking within 15 feet of fire hydrants.
Crosswalks
Please use designated crosswalks only.
Do not stop cars on crosswalks.
Use of Cell Phones or Hand-Held Devices
The City of Dallas prohibits the use of cell phones and/or hand-held devices while driving in a school zone during school hours.
Remember - allow yourself enough time to get to school.
Your children are welcome to school at 7:45 a.m. At 8:00 a.m. is when students should be at their desks.
The earlier you come, the less traffic you will encounter.
